This is not the case for young artists who have garnered their first awards, received support from major institutions or built a reputation as promising new talent thanks to a number of exhibitions. There tends not to be much documentation available about them. The interview documentation project launched in 2007 questions young artists in German- and French-speaking Switzerland about their lives, their work and their artistic activities. There are plans to extend the series and to provide insights into the present-day art sector. The project is supported by a private individual who wishes to remain anonymous.
