A number of documents from the estate of Emanuel Jacob (1917–1966) were gifted to SIK-ISEA in 1981 by his widow Elisabeth Jacob. A second gift from the family followed in 2001. Especially valuable are Jacob’s many diaries and his writings on art theory, which permit insights into his character and his creative work.
